I just back from tokyo in 4 days trip. Main reason of this trip is JAXA meeting which we work wild fire impact in Alaska. After the meeting I had a time to meet Husky pilot “Ricky” and Kaji, Miho, and Akio… in Sapporo. That was great reunion.

Last night I visit Dr. Izuta’s office. His company is one of the most famous companies for artificial ground freezing technique. This method is very important method for construction for the underground, such as subways, roads, water pipes… frozen ground is impermeable  (water does not penetrating), so this is useful characteritics for under river, near sea level constructions.
