Our first target school is Ashibetsu. Students is only 14 from K-K6. Ashibetsu’s local food Gatatan! very good.

 

When I left Tokyo, there were rare chance to see all tokyo town viewing including new tokyo radio tower, the Bay Bridge, all the way to the Bay of Sagami.

I am leaving for Japan tonight. We plan to expand our frost tube network to the western Pacific region. It surprised Hokkaido Island is not far from Adak (far west red dot in AK)!

Very cold air is staying in Interior in this week! Early cold temps affect a lot of permafrost temperature because no snow insulation yet!

It was nice trip! We were back to La Joya, where car could drive up and park.

wow…14 degree slopes with  snow.

It took a lot of the time to Look for the drill site. That made shorter time for deeper drilling. I only had  2 hours and half for being here! At least 30 minute to install sensors and datalogger.

No trouble disassembly, that was nice!

 

How many times I thought better to descendent. It was bitter condition. But little after the sunrise, we made it creator point! The picture looks peacefully quiet above cloud but very windy. You will see highest Mexican mountain at horizon.
